Akumin announced on June 25th that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Alliance Healthcare Service for approx. US$ 820mm.
This landmark transaction will bring together two US healthcare leaders in the fields of radiology and oncology with particular expertise in outpatient service delivery.
Alliance Healthcare Services has a 35+ year history of delivering quality services to its patients and customers. Alliance today:
Operates in 45 states
Has over 1,000 health system and hospital customers
Owns and operates 19 independent radiology centers and 34 oncology centers
Employs over 2500 team members
The combined entity is expected to have pro forma revenues of US$ 730mm and pro forma adjusted EBITDA, including expected cost synergies, of US$ 210mm.
The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021, subject to clearance of HSR and other customary regulatory approvals.
